Our Dribble Out Hunger Campaign

2018 gave life to the Dribble Out Hunger Campaign. The Ricky Davis Legacy Foundation has joined with Brothers Produce and several other organizations in efforts to promote health and wellness to those in homeless and disadvantaged communities. The goal is to provide fresh produce, toiletries, and additional essentials to those in need and in homeless environments.
Beginning season 2 of the Big 3, the foundation started in Houston, Texas and traveled to several other cities like Chicago, Oakland, Detroit, Toronto, Boston, Atlanta, Dallas, Miami, and New York during Ricky summer season, giving and reaching out to local organizations visited to ultimately be a ray of hope and put a smile on the faces of families in the communities. Summer 2019 during Season 3 of the Big 3, in addition to our Dribble Out Hunger Campaign. We will begin the Legacy Youth Health Fairs, geared towards awareness of oral hygiene and promoting annual physicals for youth. #Dribbleouthunger #RDLegacyhealthFair |

Last Season, Many Players joined Ricky in his efforts to bring a smile to theses communities, Ghost baller Teammates Mario West, and Mike Bibby joined in to support the foundations giving back spirit. NBA Legend Rick Barry was present and eager to be involved in Ricky's weekly events, others like Nancy Lieberman, Amare Stoudamire, Dion Glover, Demarr Johnson, Bonzi Wells, Rob Hite, David Hawkins, Doctor Stanford, Salim Stoudamire and many others came out to show support and offer advice and encouragement for those in need. Barber Marcus Williams provided fresh cuts to those attending the events through out the summer and offering a fresh new outlook into the future, giving advice while young and old were in his chair. Even Big 3 Owner Ice Cube came out in support of what Ricky was doing in the community. We at the TRDLF will never forget the looks on the kids faces as he bb bh walked through the door. This Summer was nothing short of amazing!
The Foundation aim is to provide resources to the communities whether it to the homeless community or to those just needing an extra hand. The Dribble Out Hunger campaign was coined by Edward Davis-Lead Coordinator who devoted his time to making these events go off with out a hitch!
