​What is our mission?
Our mission is to make a positive impact on the lives of youths, families and the communities we hold camps. By fostering a commitment to young people that will promote self-esteem, social awareness, higher learning, healthy lifestyles, and give athletes basketball skills and drills to take their game to the next level.

We hope you will join us in our mission. 
          We endeavor to enrich student-athletes both academically and athletically.  What good is it to help an athlete become great at sports, if the athlete is not recruitable academically?  During our camps, we stress the importance of academics and the need to pursue post-secondary education through our Collegiate compass exercises and guest speakers.  Less than 1.8 percent of student-athletes are blessed enough to play professional sports in their lives. Competitive athletics is great way to earn a great education.  We want to go a step further and actually help increase the number of athletes that have the skills and confidence to pursue degrees.
            We firmly believe basketball is truly an “art”, especially when played the right way.  It is a beautiful thing to behold and experience.  By connecting basketball camps with educational enrichment, we aim to change the way student-athletes are prepared for life. 
What is our camps goals?
  • Provide youth basketball team-building principles and fundamentals that translate on the court and in life
  • Increase overall youth basketball IQ 
  • Provide social mentoring and educational tutoring resources to youth
  • Provide college readiness training and sustainable career development enrichment 
  • Increasing youth sports participation and overall physical activity levels 
  • Promote healthy eating habits and good nutrition “best practices” in youth
  • Provide ACT and SAT Prep courses and coaching to youth from economically challenged families 
  • Provide a total enrichment experience through the combination of  mentorship, educational stimulation, and basketball competition
Who is the founder?
            The Ricky Davis Legacy Foundation (TRDLF) is a non-profit organization established and founded by “RICKY DAVIS” NBA STAR.  Ricky was blessed to play in the NBA for 13 years.  His NBA career span with several NBA teams has allowed him to give back to several communities across the world.  As an individual and in partnership with NBA charitable events, Ricky has provided both numerous contributions to people, foundations, and organizations.  In order to succeed in life and take advantage of opportunities, Ricky believes that it is very important that youth have the correct resources and guidance they need at hand.  Ricky’s selfless and dedicated spirit on the court and in the community has always had a resounding effect on others, echoing in his motto “HELPING OTHERS HELP THEMSELVES”; endeavoring to sustainably fulfill this motor through his foundation.
